Started in 1858, Tell City Pretzels has adapted its pretzel-making process while staying true to its time-honored tradition, all while keeping the pretzel recipe a secret!  

Casper Gloor, master baker from Switzerland, brought his secret recipe over from Switzerland, settling in Tell City, Indiana. The pretzels were purely hand-crafted for the first 160 years. The company modernized the pretzel-making process while honoring the artisan tradition that makes the Tell City Pretzel a truly hand-crafted experience!
